[Guide] How to enable multi-touch gestures on iOS 4.3.1

When iOS 4.3 beta was being testing by developers, one of the features that caught everyone's attention was the multi-touch features, which allows switching between apps or quickly accessing your homescreen on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

While this feature wasn't officially released with iOS 4.3, it can be enabled using a tweak which is available through Cydia on a jailbroken iOS device.

If you need to jailbreak your device you can do so using Redsn0w, PwnageTool and Sn0wBreeze.
  • Open Cydia
  • Click on Search
  • Search for 'MT Gestures' available in 'MobMyi' repository.
  • Click Install

  • Once Installed, Respring or Reboot as instructed.
  • The tweak will be available inside Winterboard, which in automatically install with MT Gestures.

Instructions

Pinch four/five fingers                  -     Return to home screen
Four/five finger scroll up/down    -     Show/Hide multi-task tray
Four/five finger scroll left/right     -     Switch between apps

[NOTE] At this moment this tweak is only available for the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G. Support for the iPad will be released soon.
