[Android app] Opera Mobile beta

Opera Software has released Opera Mobile 10.1 beta for Android. This is the first public build of the Opera web browser on the Android platform and it brings all of Opera’s signature features including its Presto rendering engine Speed Dials, Visual Tabs, Password Manager, Link, Turbo and many others to the Android platform. Opera is a fast and easy to use web browser for Android which loads pages almost instantly.

You can also download Opera Mobile directly to your computer and side-load it to your Android device.

Keep in mind that this is an early release which is still in a beta stage. Opera Software plans to add support for HTML5 and Flash in the coming months, as well as upgrade the app to with the latest Opera Presto Core, which will enable standards like Application Cash and Web Storage. The company also plans to focus on platform optimizations like Hardware Acceleration and JIT compilation which will further improve both performance and usability.
