The Nokia N8 may run the Symbian OS just like the Nokia N97 and the Samsung i8910 HD, but it offers a very different experience compared to the latter two devices. Check out the following benchmark comparison between the three handsets:
Meanwhile Jay Montano from MyNokiaBlog claims that the N8 is 244% faster than the N97 and 90% faster than the Samsung i8910 HD. He also states that the N8 pushes more triangles than the Apple iPhone 3GS, Motorola Droid and the Google Nexus One.
Personally i feel this should give Symbian a much faster, and snappier feel. This is much anticipated from Nokia, and I am glad they are giving the competition a run for their money.
