Angry Birds Season update (4.2.0) brings NBA Episode

Rovio, the developers behind the popular Angry Birds franchise, have teamed up with NBA for its latest episode of Angry Birds Season.  The latest update to Angry Birds Seasons comes just weeks before the start of the latest basketball season.

Angry Birds Stella now available for Android and iOS

Amidst the rush of devices at IFA 2014, Rovio has released Angry Birds Stella for iOS and Android. Join Stella and her super adventurous friends Dahlia, Poppy, Willow and Luca in their battle to defend the Golden Island from Gale and her band of portly pigs.

Rovio has released an updated to Angry Birds for Windows Phone to version 4.2 which brings the "Flock Favorites" episode. You get 15 new levels in addition to the 45 existing levels and a new power potion to help you get out of green pig related jams.

Angry Birds Space for Windows Phone has been updated to version 2.0.1.0 which brings the all-new Beak Impact episode, with 50 new levels. You also get hidden bonus levels, new mechanics such as asteroid showers, gas tanks and batteries to enhance your gaming experience.

Angry Birds Transformers coming next from Rovio, as Autobirds wage war on the Deceptihogs

Now that Angry Birds Epic is available across iOS, Android and Windows Phone, it is time to look towards the next big title from Rovio. This time Rovio is teaming up with Hasbro Inc, the owner of the Transformers brand. The result of this collaboration will be a new Angry Birds mash-up title, dubbed... Angry Birds Transformers. This spin-off will depict the battle between the Angry Birds' versions of the Autobots (Autobirds) and the Decepticons (Deceptihogs).

Angry Birds Epic arrives on iOS, Android and Windows Phone

Back in March we got our first glimpse of a new game from Rovio called Angry Birds Epic. This freemium turn-based RPG was soft launched in Canada, Australia and New Zealand and was given a June 12 release date for everyone else. Now the game has officially landed for iOS, Android and Windows Phone.

Angry Birds Space updated (2.0) for iOS and Android

Rovio has released an update to Angry Birds Space for iOS and Android, which adds 50 new levels to the game and brings it to version 2.0. Angry Birds Star Wars II for Windows Phone has been updated to version 1.4.1 with new levels and content. Angry Birds Rio for Windows Phone has been updated to version 2.1 with new levels and content. In Angry Birds Rio, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio de Janeiro, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the hit motion picture, Rio. Rovio's Bad Piggies has finally landed on the Windows Phone Store, after debuting on iOS and Android way back in September 2012. Bad Piggies takes a different approach from the usual Angry Birds games, requiring you to build various contraptions to help the pigs steal the eggs from the birds.

Angry Birds Go updated with new levels and karts

Rovio has updated their Angry Birds Go! racing game with new levels and new karts. In addition to new levels and karts, Angry Birds Go Sub Zero, as the expansion pack is called, gets a new winter chilly theme along with new currency.

[iOS app] Angry Birds Epic launches in Australia, New Zealand and Canada

Rovio has just launched the latest release in the Angry Birds Franchise, the RPG based Angry Birds Epic. Unfortunately the game will not be available worldwide, at least not yet. Rovio has decided to have a soft launch with this title, releasing the title to iOS users in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

[Windows Phone app] Angry Birds updated (1.4) with 15 new levels

Angry Birds for Windows Phone has been updated to version 1.4 with 15 new levels in addition to the 30 levels for the Short Fuse episode and a number of powerups. Angry Birds features challenging, physics based demolition gameplay with hours and hours of replay value. Each of the over 300 levels requires logic, skill, and force to solve.

Angry Birds Epic unveiled as turn-based strategy RPG

Rovio promised that they had a new Angry Birds game in the works and recently teased that it would have a medieval theme.  Now some new information regarding the game has been revealed suggesting that it will be a turn-based strategy RPG, unlike the usual flinging games Rovio is known for.

Angry Birds Rio updated (2.0) for iOS and Android

Rovio has updated Angry Birds Rio to version 2.0 for iOS and Android. The update introduces a brand new episode based on Rio 2, the upcoming sequel to the 2011 computer-animated film of which the game was originally a tie-in.

Angry Birds Stella announced

Yesterday, Rovio teased a new Angry Birds title featuring new birds. Now, the Finnish entertainment company has revealed what that title is, and it’s called Angry Birds Stella.
