HP recently unveiled a new lineup of devices including the HP Stream 11, an affordable Windows 8 notebook set to take on the budget friendly chromebooks in the market. You can now purchase the notebook for an extremely affordable $199.99 from Amazon.
Its important to note that this is a very entry level device, which is capable of handling your basic day-to-day tasks such as browsing, emails, Skype, and similar tasks. In terms of hardware, you get a 11.6 inch display with a 1366 by 768 pixel resolution, 32GB of internal storage, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port and a 3-cell, 37 Wh Li-ion polymer battery which promises 8 hours of use and an Intel Celeron processor clocked at 2.16GHz with 2GB of RAM.
On the software side, you get Windows 8.1 with Bing, a free one year Office 365 Personal subscription for its users and a free $25 Windows Store card which can be spent on games, apps and more.
