[Windows Phone app] Swarm by Foursquare

We recently learned that Foursquare would be separating their check-in feature from their main app into a new app called Swarm. Foursquare has finally released its new Swarm check-in app for Windows Phone 8.1 devices. Swarm is a new virtual check-in app that shows you where friends are nearby and let you check into those locations.

You can download the app directly on your device through the Windows Phone Store or by using the link which follows:

Swarm for Windows Phone has the following features:

• Got an idea for something fun to do? Easily message all of your nearby friends.

Swarm is little different from the traditional Foursquare app, its designed to facilitate meet-ups with friends more easily by letting you broadcast your check-in’s and find nearby friends. Meanwhile, the original Foursquare app for Windows Phone is getting an update in coming months that deliver an enhanced discovery experience for everyone to enjoy!
