Everyone likes taking selfies, so there is no surprise that manufacturers like Sony and Nokia are working on devices aimed that those who like taking pictures of themselves. We have already met the Sony Xperia C3 which was a "selfie smartphone". Now we have the Sony KW1 which has an amazing camera for photos and an extremely strange shape.
The Sony DSC-KW1 is a selfie camera features a 3.3 inch OLED display and a 19.2 megapixel camera with Sony's latest sensor technology. The 21mm f2.0 camera lens can be rotated 180 degrees to capture an image in any angle you please. Also, the camera has built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connections, and it records 1080p video. There are touch slide shutter, self-timer, instant share, and smartphone control functions built in, while the surface is inlaid with "dazzling Swarovski elements".
So why the perfume bottle you ask? Apparently its what the Chinese market wants, and Sony figured what the Chinese market wants the Chinese market gets. The only downside is that you have to be willing to part with 5199 yuan (~$843) if you want to purchase one.
