Microsoft Surface Pro 3 discounted for students

Microsoft Surface Pro 3
Microsoft is giving students a reason to pick the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 over its competitors by offering a discount on their flagship tablet until September 3rd. To be eligible for the discount, you will have to verify that you are enrolled as a student, before you can make the purchase.

Those who pick the entry level Surface Pro 3, with the Intel Core i3 processor will get a $150 discount on the marked price. This means the tablet can be yours for $649, compared to the usual $799 price. Discounts vary depending on the model you select, with the most expensive model with Intel Core i7 and 512GB of storage receiving a $194.90 discount. This brings its price down to $1754.10 from $1949.

With students beginning their annual Back to School shopping, this would seem to be a great time for Microsoft to offer a special deal to students. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with a 12 inch screen, up to 8GB of RAM, a pair of 5MP shooters in both the back and front of the device, and Windows 8.1 Pro pre-installed.

Unlike regular tablets like the iPad or Galaxy Tab, the Surface Pro 3 is a great replacement for your notebook. Its powerful internals allow you to enjoy gaming as well as get productive. Since it runs the full version of Windows you will be able to install and use regular Windows software with this tablet.
