[Android app] Vine update adds 'Huge video recording quality boost' and new notification option

Vine for AndroidVine for Android has been updated with a couple of improvements. Vine for Android is a service from Twitter which allows you to create 6 seconds of video in a looping feed that you can tag and then post. The platform has not been known for its outstanding videography, but the developer team hopes to change that with their newest update.

You can download the update directly on your device through the Google Play Store or by using the following link

Most notably users should notice improvement in the quality of uploaded videos, according to the developers. Of course, the quality will still be limited by your device camera and the shooting conditions in any particular location. Exactly how video quality is being improved hasn't been revealed.

The only other notable update is to the notification options. I'm not a regular Vine user myself, but the Settings menu now includes options to display Likes, Comments, Re-vines, Mentions, and Follows in either a semi-curated "tailored to you" fashion or from anyone. You can also turn them off. On/off toggles for VMs, new contacts, and milestones of loops, likes, and followers are also included.
