The Samsung Gear 2 follows in the footsteps of the Samsung Galaxy Gear, which was launched last year alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. At $299, the Gear 2 is still one of the most expensive smartwatches in the market, but lets find out if the latest Samsung smartwatch has what it takes to make you want to buy one
Samsung has made several improvements to the Gear 2, making it much better than its predecessor. The Gear 2 is less bulky and lighter and comes with improved hardware which makes it fast and responsive. But the device is still midst a poor app ecosystem, which hasn't grown much in the last six months.
If you are heavily invested in the Samsung ecosystem and have $299 you are willing to spend on this device, you could consider the Gear 2 as your smartwatch. However the cheaper offerings from the competitors makes it heard to pick the Gear 2 as the top smartwatch offering.
