Samsung ATIV SE for Verizon available for pre-order, ships April 12


Samsung ATIV SEThe Samsung ATIV SE for Verizon is now available for pre-order. The handset will cost you $199 with a two-year contract or $599 unlocked. To promote this Windows Phone 8 device, Verizon is letting buyers of the ATIV SE procure another handset of the same value, such as the HTC One (M8) and Samsung Galaxy S5 for free, but a two-year contract is required with each device.

The ATIV SE is a powerful smartphone which features a 5 inch 1080p AMOLED display, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13MP rear camera, a 2MP front facing camera, a 2600mAh battery and a 2.3GHz quad-core (presumably Qualcomm Snapdragon 800) processor with 2GB of RAM. This Galaxy S4 like handset even comes with a premium metal finish, making it a great alternative to the Nokia Lumia Icon. The handset also includes some exclusive Samsung software such as Channel Surf for Smart TVs, Samsung Link for sharing content across devices, and ATIV Beam for sending files to Android devices.
