Samsung Galaxy S5 for U.S. Cellular pre-order gets you $50 Google Play credit

Samsung Galaxy S5 - U.S. Cellular pre-orders

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available for pre-order to U.S. Cellular  customers starting tomorrow, March 21, alongside AT&T. The Galaxy S5 will cost you $199.99 on contract and it will have two color versions at launch: Charcoal Black and Shimmery White.

The new Galaxy smartphone will be available at U.S. Cellular on April 11, which coincides with the global release. The Samsung Gear 2Samsung Gear 2 Neo and Samsung Gear Fit will also be available that day. As an added bonus, U.S. Cellular is throwing in a $50 Google Play promotional code for all customers who will pre-order the S5 online.

As you may know, the Galaxy S5 is Samsung's first smartphone to come with a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, a built-in heart rate monitor, and a fingerprint scanner. Other features include a dust- and water-resistant case, Android 4.4 KitKat, LTE connectivity, 16MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal memory which can be expanded through microSD, and a 2,800 mAh battery.

We assume that Verizon and Sprint are also getting ready to start taking pre-orders for the S5 later this month.
