Android 4.4.3 update details revealed

Android 4.4 KitKatRecently there have been rumors suggesting that Google was working on an Android 4.4.3 software update. Unfortunately, we haven't really heard much about what to expect from the update though. Of course, given that we're going from 4.4.2 to 4.4.3, we're not expecting much more than bug fixes.

The information suggests that the build number KTU8 is currently being tested, and the news comes from the same reliable source who previously detailed the KTU72B build.

The update is expected to bring the following fixes and improvements
  • frequent data connection dropout fix
  • mm-qcamera-daemon crash and optimization fixes
  • camera focus in regular and HDR modes fixes
  • Power Manager display wakelock fix
  • multiple Bluetooth fixes
  • fix for a random reboot
  • app shortcuts sometimes got removed from launcher after update
  • USB debugging security fix
  • app shortcuts security fix
  • Wi-Fi auto-connect fix
  • other camera fixes
  • MMS, Email/Exchange, Calendar, People/Dialer/Contacts, DSP, IPv6, VPN fixes
  • stuck in activation screen fix
  • missed call LED fix
  • subtitle fixes
  • data usage graph fix
  • Internet telephony fix
  • FCC compliance fix
  • miscellaneous fixes

There is no news on when the update is expected to land, but based on the rate of the rumors it may be sooner rather than later.
