Samsung Galaxy S5 may feature new TouchWiz interface

SamsungReports suggest that Samsung's upcoming Unpacked event will be modest compared to last year's extravagant launch. However, given that it may mark the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S5, which itself makes it a must watch event.

Today Samsung has tweeted out an image, which confirms the recent rumors of a new and improved version of TouchWiz, which will be flatter and less flashy than before.

Given that this image comes directly from Samsung, there is no doubt that it is legit. Frankly we have never been fans of Samsung's interface in the past, and we are quite impressed to see this become a reality. The new TouchWiz will focus on speed, style, fun, privacy, heath, and much more, judging by the clues, so we should be expecting the next TouchWiz to be no less feature-rich than its previous versions.

The highly-anticipated Samsung Unpacked event is scheduled for February 24, and it looks like it may be streamed live on YouTube.
