Among the improvements, Galaxy S4 users will now be able to select a default launcher and switch between the native SMS app and Hangouts. The default Samsung keyboard has been renovated, with enhanced gesture input in landscape mode. The camera can now be easily accessed through a dedicated shortcut on the device's lock screen and your apps now have the immersive full screen mode. However, what may be the biggest visual improvements is the changed color of the status bar icons, which are now white.

Samsung Galaxy S4 devices in some regions have already received the Android 4.4.2 update over-the-air, but you might not get it right away, as it has just started rolling out. The update may take even longer to reach your device if you own a carrier locked model.
