Samsung Galaxy S4 for Sprint may receive Android 4.4 KitKat starting tomorrow

Samsung Galaxy S4

According to a leaked internal Sprint document, the carrier's version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will receive the Android 4.4 KitKat software update starting tomorrow, February 13th. The memo reminds owners of the device that the update first needs to be pushed out OTA by Google's servers before it can be downloaded and installed on the phone.

In order to receive the Android 4.4 update, Galaxy S4 customers on Sprint will have to make sure they have the current L720VPUFNAE version of the OS installed on their device. You can check  your installed version by heading to Home> Menu> Settings> About Device.
