Motorola Moto G receives Android 4.4.2 update in the U.S.

Motorola has announced, that it has started sending out the Android 4.4.2 update to the Motorola Moto G starting Thursday. The handsets receiving the latest build of Android today, are those which were purchased from Motorola.com or Amazon.com in the U.S. After installing the update you will be able to print emails and photos from the phone.

The update will also bring newly designed status and navigation bars, a full-screen mode, support for color emojis, improved closed captioning, enhanced security, smarter power use and more. The new dialer will allow you to look up contacts directly from the dialing pad or tap frequent contacts to make a call. The update to Android 4.4.2 improves the camera and offers the same enhanced "touch-to-focus" that the Motorola Moto X now features. The update automatically improves the photographs taken with manual settings using the Moto G's rear camera. Improvements will be also found in the gallery.

Motorola said that the Android 4.4.2 update for the Motorola Moto G will soon be available from other carriers and will shortly be rolling out in other regions.
