Samsung ChatOn messenger reaches 100 million users

Samsung's cross platform ChatOn messaging service has grown immensely to a huge 100 million users since its launch in October 2011. ChatOn now now works across 237 different countries and 63 languages and is even available across all major smartphone platforms - Android, iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry.

The ChatOn messaging service is particularly popular in countries like India and China, and the United States, and it’s getting good traction in the Europe and the Middle East. A key factor for the growth of ChatOn is that Samsung bundles it in its feature phones, as well as in Galaxy smartphones.

However ChatOn faces fierce competition world from WhatsApp, Skype and Viber which BlackBerry's BBM planning a cross platform entrance very soon. If you don't already have ChatOn on your smartphone you can download it for Android or iOS from here. The ChatOn for Windows Phone can be downloaded from here.
