The Sony Xperia Z1 (aka Honami) claims to be the best camera phone in the market. But the Nokia Lumia 1020 will definitely have something to say about that. Check out the following photo gallery comparison between Sony's newest Android flagship and the top Windows Phone in the market and see which one truly deserves the crown.
The Lumia 1020 features a 41 megapixel camera compared to the 20.7 megapixel camera on the Xperia Z1. The detailed specs of the two cameras follow:

Now lets look at some of the photo samples from the Lumia 1020 and Xperia Z1 cameras.
The Xperia Z1 does seem to produce more vibrant images during daytime and may look better on your display. However the output may not reflect the actual color. The tables seem to be turned during night time photography, as the Lumia 1020 produces warmer images making it look a bit better than the Z1 but again, this is not reflective of the correct colours.
The large 41 megapixel sensor on the Lumia 1020 offers more zoom and detail in your images. However the lossless zoom on the Lumia 1020 isn't perfect.
The night time full zoom image is of a window in a building and neither of the cameras can clearly depict that a person is sitting with in front of a table and a lamp hanging from the ceiling- something visible from the naked eye.
