The Desire 601 includes goodies like Sense 5.0 with all of its proprietary software like Zoe and BlinkFeed which adds to the experience offered by the latest version of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The device additionally borrows the dual front-facing BoomSound speakers from the HTC One, but its 5MP camera doesn't have the UltraPixel advantages even though it has an f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video capturing capabilities. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0 Wi-Fi, GPS and 4G LTE connectivity.
The HTC Desire 601 which will be available in Black, Red and White is expected to arrive October through Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It is also rumored to arrive in the US eventually, but there is no confirmed information at this point. Pricing at this point is also a mystery, but we expect to know more in the days ahead.
