The YouTube for Android app has been updated and brings some changes to the user interface along with the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. The card based interface made famous on Google Now has been adopted by YouTube, while a multi-window feature allows you to view a video in one window while you search or go through your feed parallely.

Users will also notice a new YouTube icon has been included with the update along with a hamburger style menu, video suggestion overlays during playback and the ability to open the guide and check on your subscriptions and feeds from anywhere within the app. You will also notice that the HD and CC toggle has been moved to the manu from the left corner, while 7 inch or larger tablets will feature a fully-functional landscape UI.
