Apple has drastically changed the look of iOS with their recent announcement of iOS 7. The new flattened look is bright and colorful and quite a drastic move from the skeuomorphic designs which Apple has used from the inception of their mobile platform.
Now the first beta of iOS 7 has been released to developers and is expected to arrive to supported devices this fall. If you are a fan of the new look who doesn't have a developer account and is impatient to wait for the launch of the OS you could consider installing the iOS 7 theme on your device instead.
This theme is available for those who have a jailbroken iOS device. It doesn't modify any of the system's functionality and simply introduces the iOS 7 icons to older handsets. You can apply the theme using using Winterboard, which will change all the native icons into the new flattened iOS 7 icons demonstrated at the WWDC 2013 keynote.
The iOS 7 Theme by AR7 is available to download free of charge from the MacCiti repository on Cydia and requires a jailbroken iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 or iPod touch 5G, iPhone 4G running iOS 6.x.
