The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has been officially announced with Windows 8 on board. The tablet features a 10.1 inch touch display with a 1366 by 768 pixel resolution, 64GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.8GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
Additionally the ATIV Tab 3 supports the Samsung S Pen for sketching with an improved S Note 2.0 app for Windows. If you want a tablet when you are on the move, the ATIV Tab 3 even offers 3G and 4G LTE flavors based on your needs.
In terms of design the ATIV Tab 3 borrows the familiar look of the Galaxy family and should feel right at home with your other Galaxy devices. It is just 8.2 mm thick and weighs in at 550 grams, making it a traveler's best friend.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 will cost $599 for just the tablet while adding a keyboard will cost an additional $100 bringing your total to $699.
