The international
HTC One is now receiving the latest version of
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean in the form of the Android 4.2.2 software update. In addition to the improvements and bug fixes, the update also brings a minor update to HTC Sense. After installing the update you can long press on the home key on the on the lower right of the device and instead of getting Google Now, you will get the menu key.
The app drawer and the dock have been updated and screen saver "Daydream" has been added. You can have it appear during anything you do such as charging or docking.
The update also allows you to work with native Android sound profiles via equalizer controls. Next to the battery level, you can set up the phone to display the percentage of battery life remaining by going to Settings> Power> Show Battery Level.
Keep in mind that the update is only available for the unlocked international model. Carrier variants of the device will have to wait for the update to be released.
