Vine for Android is now available for download through the Google Play Store. Vine is a service from Twitter which lets you create short looping videos which you can easily share with friends and family. Vine for iOS has been around since early this year and has steadily been gaining popularity. The developers also reported that the platform has crossed 13M users, which should see a continuous rise with its introduction to Android.

Vine for Android will not have all the features available on Vine for iOS at launch, but will be updated quickly to add features like front facing camera support, search, mentions and hashtags along with the ability to share to Facebook. The team has also promised "features that could exist only on Android" will eventually find their way to the app.
