Google has introduced the card UI to Google Drive which has introduced across many of the company's applications recently. With this new look you get large previews of the files  which you can swipe through to find what you are looking for. The action bar allows you to download anything you may want to keep for offline use while the quick preview option allows you to easily see what's in a particular file.

Additionally the spreadsheet editor has been updated to allow changing fonts, colors and cell alignment.

Another great feature in the update is OCR scanning. This allows you to scan a text document and upload it to Google Drive. Google will run its optical character recognition on the image so you can later search for a document by searching for particular text within that document.
