HTC Desire P officially announced


The HTC Desire P is a mid range smartphone which has been announced for the Asian market. The specifications suggest that the Desire P is a variant of the HTC One SV without 4G LTE connectivity on board.

The Desire P features a 4.3 inch touch display with a 480 by 800 pixel resolution, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MSM8225 processor by Qualcomm with 768MB of RAM.

Taiwanese carrier Chunghwa Telecom will be the first to offer the HTC Desire P at around $365. There is no indication whether the handset will be released in other markets at this time.
