BlackBerry Z10 for AT&T now available

The BlackBerry Z10 is now available from AT&T a day before it was rumored to arrive. The BlackBerry 10 device is priced at $199.99 with a two-year contract. The Z10 was offered to T-Mobile business customers earlier this month for $249.99 on contract. While Verizon started taking pre-orders for the device and states that it will be available to their customers on March 28th. Meanwhile Sprint has decided to skip the BlackBerry Z10 in favor of the QWERTY bearing BlackBerry Q10.

Even though T-Mobile wanted to be the first to offer the Z10 in the U.S. they are the only carrier still to reveal a release date for the handset.

The BlackBerry Z10 features a 4.2 inch touch display with a 768 x 1280 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls, a 1800mAh battery and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

Following a successful launch in other regions around the world, BlackBerry will be keen to see how their new flagship smartphone fairs in the U.S. which has long been one of its biggest clients. Especially since the sales momentum has started to drop in around the world. Additionally, BlackBerry fans would likely prefer waiting for the QWERTY keyboard variant, which is what the company has been long known for.
