[iOS app] Skype updated (4.5)



Skype for iPad was recently updated to version 4.5, and now Skype for the iPhone and iPod Touch have also received the 4.5 software update. The update brings a few new features and improvements including automatic call recovery for dropped calls, which allows Skype to automatically redial a number when a call is dropped. Skype for iOS allows you to keep in touch with your family and friends through instant messaging, voice or video calls for free.

Skype version 4.5 for iPhone and iPod Touch has the following new features and improvements
  • Your IMs now appear in the correct order.
  • Users can now opt-out of the marketing offers if they want to
  • Emergancy calls are now routed through the native dialer
  • Six issues have been resolved with the update including:
    • A bug which kept calls from ending when signed into multiple devices
    • A problem responsible for the incorrect timestamp appearing on chat messages.
