[iOS app] Mailbox updated (1.1.0) in celebration of reaching 1 million reservations
Mailbox for iOS is a completely redesigned inbox for GMail users that makes email light, fast, and mobile-friendly. It is regarded as one of the best GMail apps in the market. It has managed to earn this title in its six weeks of existence on the Apple App Store. In fact this is the likely reason which led the company to be purchased by Dropbox for over $100 million.
Now the company has reached a new milestone in the form of its 1 millionth reservation. The app has also been updated to version 1.1.0 with “hundreds of fixes and improvements”.
You can download the update directly on your device through the Apple App Store or by using the link which follows:
The Mailbox team have also taken the opportunity to announce that they have moved into their new office with Dropbox.
Most of the new features are under the hood improvements, bug fixes and UI enhancements which may go unnoticed, but you will notice a new ‘Shake to Undo’ feature which allows you to shake your iPhone or iPod Touch to undo the last action which was performed.
If you want to try out Mailbox, you’ll still have to sign up with the reservation system after download the app onto your device. If you already use the app you can simply download the update and continue using Mailbox.
