Sony Xperia Z - Hands On Video

The Sony Xperia Z is the company’s newest flagship device and offers an amazing set of specifications similar to what we have recently seen on the HTC Droid DNA. The device features a 5 inch 1080p display which uses the Mobile BRAVIA 2 engine with high contrast, robust color reproduction and sharp viewing angles. The device includes a 13 megapixel auto-focus camera which features an Exmor RS sensor, LED flash and 1080p HD video recording. Additionally the device also features 4G LTE connectivity, a microSD card slot, 2330 mAh battery and NFC connectivity.

The Xperia Z is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM which powers the Sony customized Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Sony is expected to release Android 4.2 Jelly Bean for the device sometime after launch.

The Xperia Z has a solid construction in a thin frame but has a glossy finish which can be a magnet to fingerprints and smudges. Sony has even managed to make this device waterproof and dustproof for an added level of protection.

The Xperia Z is expected to be released in Q1 of this year which means we may get our hands on this device by March, but Sony hasn’t revealed the pricing. You can learn more about the Sony Xperia Z and check out some hands on photos by following the source link below.
