Rumors suggest a Nokia with PureView is headed to Verizon

We already know that the mid range Nokia Lumia 822 is heading for Verizon but there was no news of a flagship device, until now. A recent report suggests that a Nokia device with PureView on board is destined for the Verizon network. The sources even claim to have a prototype of this said device in their hands.

The device is reportedly thinner and lighter than the AT&T flagship, Nokia Lumia 920 and said to have similar phase two PureView technology. This is not the first time we are hearing rumors of a Nokia device for Verizon with PureView, as previous rumors have already suggested Verizon would be getting a device with a PureView camera smaller than the 41MP on the Nokia 808 PureView.

The sources have not revealed the name of this said device and we wonder if it may turn out to be the rumored Nokia Lumia 1001 which was undergoing testing in Nokia’s labs.

Nokia Windows Phones will debut in the U.S. early in November and we should get information on more devices by then. So be sure to stay tuned for updates.
