Google Nexus 10 to launch in the first half of next year ?
We reported that Samsung and Google may be working on the 10 inch Nexus 10 tablet. Now a new rumor suggests that the tablet may be delayed to the first half of 2013. Unlike the Google Nexus 7 which aims to claim the low priced tablet market, the Nexus 10 is expected to compete directly with the Apple iPad.
Rumors suggest that the Nexus 10 will feature a huge 2560 x 1600 pixel high-resolution which will give the device a near 300 ppi pixel density. Another reason for the delay could be the rumored processor, which is expected to be an Exynos 5 based on ARM’s Cortex A15.
What do you think of the Nexus 10? Do you think the device will challenge the Apple iPad dominance? Google will also have to compete with the Windows 8 tablets which are due this upcoming holiday season. We are very curious to see if Google will try and compete with Microsoft’s offering by including Chrome OS as a dual-boot option with the Nexus 10.
