The Asus Transformer Prime users in Sweden are starting to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update today. Hopefully this is a strong indication that the latest version of Android has past testing and certification phase and is ready for public consumption.
Android 4.1 reached AOSP status two months ago and the fact that manufacturers are quickly readying their Jelly Bean updates indicate that its easier to update from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) to Jelly Bean compared to updating to ICS from Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
