The Nokia Maps for Windows Phone app has been updated (2.5) and brings some new features and improvements including the ability to plan and edit your route to a specific location. This allows you to choose a starting point and a destination point and your map will be routed for you.You can download the update directly on your Nokia Lumia Device through the Nokia Collection in the Windows Phone Marketplace.
The new Nokia Maps now offers real time traffic information, which is updated every three minutes. With the Groupon integration you can now see all the deals available in and around your location. The Groupon deals will appear when you map out routes and you will be taken to the Groupon website when you find a deal you like. The Groupon feature is currently limited to the U.S. due to restrictions on the available deals.
Along with the new features the update also offers performance and stability improvements.
