Windows 8 is set to launch in less than two months and Microsoft realizes that it needs to have an arsenal of apps and games ready in time for the launch of their newest operating system. Today they have revealed a selection of games which will be available for Windows 8 initially.

It is great to see some of the big names like Rovio, Miniclip, ZeptoLab, Glu Mobile and Halfbrick studios who currently have some of these popular titles on the iOS and Android platforms.
Hopefully Windows 8 will in turn help boost the sales and popularity of the Windows Phone platform, which is still struggling to make a name for itself in this post PC era.
