HTC HD2 receives Android 4.1 Jelly Bean port
For those of you who don't remember the HTC HD2, it was one of the large Windows Mobile 6.5 devices which features some very powerful hardware at its time. The device has been treated to various version of Android OS and Windows Phone over its lifetime (and even after) and now it has been treated to the latest version from Google’s camp – Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
It can be frustrating to some, when their more than capable devices are being denied the latest version of Android while this three year old device which wasn't even built to run Android is enjoying a port of the latest version.
The bad news is the update is far from perfect, as some features including the device camera, web browser and Google Now don’t work. But if you have one of these handsets lying around head over to XDA Developers for information on how to update your HTC HD2 with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
