[Map app] Safari updated (6.0) and brings Smart Search Field, Offline Reading List among others.


Apple has updated their Safari web browser for Mac OS with support for . The new version of the browser also brings new features, some improvements and enhancements.

One of the new features is the Smart Search Field, which allows you to type searches and web addresses into one bar. Another new feature is the offline reading lists, support for Baidu Chinese search engine, Do Not Track and an updated password management.

The Mountain Lion version of Safari 6 will additionally offers  features like Tab View and iCloud Tabs.

With offline reading lists, users can save entire pages within Safari. This will allow you to save and continue reading interesting web articles when you don’t have an internet connection.

Do not track, requests websites not to track online movements, and while will help improve your privacy when you’re surfing the web.

The new version of Safari also has the leading Chinese search engine Baidu built it. Given Baidu’s popularity in China and Apple’s eagerness to infiltrate the Chinese Market.
