[Guide] How to install Adobe Flash on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Android continued to support Adobe Flash while other manufacturers chose to omit support for the web plugin on their platforms. But with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Android will no longer support Flash on its browser.

If you have upgraded to Jelly Bean, and do not have Adobe Flash, check out the following guide on how to install Adobe Flash on your Android 4.1 Jelly Bean device:
  • Download the Adobe Flash Player .apk file
  • Download flash_player version 11.1.102.59.apk
  • Copy the files to your device SD card
  • Locate the file using a file manager eg: ES Explorer
  • Install and run a browser of your choice eg:Dolphin Browser
  • Go to Settings on your browser and change Flash settings to suite your preference
You now have the latest version of Android running Flash.

[NOTE] It is important to remember that Adobe doesn’t official support Flash on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. So you may experience laggy or buggy behavior when viewing flash content.
