Google Nexus 7 will come in mid July with Android 4.1.1 installed
The Google Nexus 7 is currently available for pre-order through the Google Play Store and the shipping date has changed from 3 to 4 weeks, to 1 to 2 weeks. This means that the device will be out by mid-July as officially planned.
The Nexus 7 will also ship will ship with Android 4.1. The latest version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will bring new bug fixes and add Google Wallet.
Anyone interested in the Nexus 7 tablet can choose between the 8GB model for $199 or the 16GB model for $249.00. Since the tablet doesn't come with a microSD slot you will have to settle for the capacity it comes with.
The Nexus 7 also features a 7 inch touch display, a single camera for video calls, NFC connectivity and a quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 1GB of RAM.
