Angry Birds has gone on to become a global phenomenon spanning multiple mobile and desktop platforms. Now Rovio, the makers of the hit game are planning to bring the game to modern gaming consoles including the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS.The trilogy will include the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio and will be released in December this year ,making it a great Christmas gift for Angry Birds fans.
Rovio's Petri Jarvilento stated that the game has been developed from ground up with HDTVs in mind. The game is also reported to feature cinematic extras and content which will be unique to the consoles. The game will also take advantage of console hardware like the Xbox Kinect, PlayStation Move and Street Pass on the Nintendo 3DS.
