Today was set to be the official launch date of the Samsung Galaxy III in the U.S. for some of the carriers. The demand for the handset has been so high that only the 32GB Marble variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III for T-Mobile has been made available today in the carrier’s top 29 markets.
If you want to be one of the first to get your hands on this handset, the 32GB version costs $329.99 after a $50 rebate and signing a 2 year contract. T-Mobile is planning to broaden the release of the device by the 27th June and you will also have a 16GB variant to choose from, which will cost you $279.99 with the same rebate and contract.
The Samsung Galaxy S III for T-Mobile features a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD display, 8 megapixel intelligent camera in the rear which is capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary front facing camera which is capable of 720p HD video capture, up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, NFC connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
