Apple has updated their Safari web browser to version 5.1.7 which brings performance improvements, stability, compatibility and security updates.
You can download the latest version of Safari on your Mac by clicking the Apple Logo and selecting Software Update or by using the link which follows
Some of the featured changes in this update are as follows
- Improves the browser’s responsiveness when the system is low on memory.
- Fixes an issue that could prevent webpages from responding after using a pinch to zoom gesture.
- Fixes an issue that could affect websites using forms to authenticate users.
- Disables versions of the Adobe Flash Player that do not include the latest security updates and provide the option to get the latest version from Adobe’s website.
