T-Mobile Android Ice Cream Sandwich update roadmap revealed


An internal document from T-Mobile has leaked which details the roadmap of the fourth largest carrier in the U.S. which includes the plans for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich  (ICS).



The T-Mobile variant of the is reported to receive ICS on May 14th. The and the will follow receiving ICS on June 16th.

The roadmap also included other news on upcoming handsets.
  • The low end Huawei Astro smartphone with be available as a pre-paid and on regular contracts.
  • July 11th will mark the launch of three launches, including two myTouch devices from Huawei - The Huawei Buddy which will features a QWERTY keyboard and the Huawei Phoenix. The date will also mark the release of the Samsung Gravity TXT which will launch in a new color.
  • On August 1st a low-end Samsung Cacao (T159) which will be followed by the Samsung Apex Q, on August 15th.
Unfortunately there is no news on the availability of the upcoming , for T-Mobile or the . We can hope that if these devices are coming that they will eventually make their way to the carrier after August 15th.
