Nokia Lumia 900 sales exceed expectation says AT&T
The Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T went on sale on August 8th in the U.S. and takes over as Nokia’s flagship device. The device went on to top Amazon’s smartphone sales lists admits several sales promotions and discounts.
However it hasn’t been smooth sailing for Nokia’s savior with some users reporting data connectivity issues.
But now AT&T has also come forward in support of the device’s success.
It was the AT&T president of retail sales and service, Paul Roth who stated in the Nokia Lumia 900 sales had exceeded expectations. He went on to say that the device had sold out entirely in several stores. This is quite impressive considering the device has only been in the market for a couple of days. The fact that users can get the Lumia 900 for free until the 21st should also be helping boost sales.
The success of the Lumia 900 is quite important to Nokia considering the company stock hit a new 16 year low yesterday
