The Nokia 808 PureView is now available for pre-order in Europe and the camera flagship is expected to arrive sometime in May. The device is priced at $785 if you are pre-ordering it through Nokia . But online retailer Clove is offering the device at €449 (excluding VAT) which sums it at $711.
The Nokia 808 PureView features a 41 megapixel sensor, a 4.0 inch ClearBlack touch display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by a 1.3 GHz processor with 512MB RAM. The 808 PureView is the first in the PureView Series and runs Nokia Belle FP1.
The PureView will unfortunately not make it’s way to the U.S. at least not officially. However there is hope that the PureView camera technology will appear in the next generation Nokia Windows Phones.
