Motorola has officially announced that the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX will be available on January 26. The Droid Razr Maxx is a variant of the Motorola Droid Razr which is slightly thicker in frame in favour of a larger battery. The 3300 mAh battery gives the RAZR MAXX a huge advantage over it's competitors with over 21.5 hours of talk time and 15.8 hours of standby.
Its other features include a 4.3 inch display, 8MP camera, 16GB of internal memory, 16GB microSD card and a 1.2GHz dual core processor in a 8.99mm frame which is a slight trade off compared to the 7.1mm thin RAZR.
The RAZR MAXX will retail at $299.99 with a two-year contract compared to the $199.99 price tag on the original DROID RAZR. So if the extended battery life is something you find appealing, the DROID RAZR MAXX maybe the device you have been waiting for.
