The Google+ for iOS app has been updated to version 1.0.7.2940 which brings several new features and improvements. Unfortunately Google hasn't fixed some known issues with the application.

The most noticeable change is that Google has replaced the classic icon with a red one. I personally preferred the old icon, but I guess the new one stands out better.
With the update you can now upload full resolution pictures from your device, the search feature has been introduced and you can now +1 photos. The search feature allows you to search through topics, users and keywords directly from within the app. While uploading full resolution pictures is a useful feature, the problem with it is that you can't view the photos in HD after you have uploaded them.
