Apple reduces iPhone 4S orders

Apple has reduced orders for parts and components for the Apple iPhone 4S in the fourth quarter due to reduced demand. The flagship phone from Apple has seen record sales since it's launch but Apple has apparently reduced orders by 10-15%.

There have also been reports of component shortage, which could be another reason behind the reduced demand. In any case Apple is planning to increase their production again in Q1 of 2012 and this could just be that Apple has over anticipated the holiday demand when ordering devices.
