Apple iPhone battery woes continue even after iOS 5.0.1


iPhone users have been facing battery issues since the launch of iOS 5. Apple recently released an update aimed at fixing this issue, but it seams that users still have battery woes which has been fondly titled 'battery gate'

Users have been complaining about their issues on Apple's support forums, with complaints surpassing 300 pages and it seems that the update has even made the battery issue worse for some than it was before.

The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices. We continue to investigate a few remaining issues
The update when it is ready will be made available OTA. Meanwhile you can disable power hungry applications and push notifications to maximize your battery performance.
